Fun in the SUN!!

The weather has been really weird here in northern CA, lately... 60's one day, 90's the next... but this week, it's been perfect, great time to visit the pool. We went to Gauche Aquatic Park (GAP) today and took in a few rays while we played in the Sprayground and activity pool... tons of fun for a little one! We met some of Jesse's Kindermusik friends there and had lunch, and played at the playground after swimming.

Jesse had a blast! This is the 3rd time we've gone this year, so he's an old pro by now... pretty fearless. Thank goodness Gage slept the whole time, because I had to chase Jesse around pool, making sure he didn't bust his head open. And he only had the lifeguards blow the whistle twice at him... both times for trying to get on the slide... from the bottom, instead of the top! What a good boy :)

Those silly Crim boys!

Okay, so you can clearly tell who's the "ham" in our family... Mr. Jesse Clay. We just have to break out the camera and he starts smiling. Now, we've got him saying "cheese", which usually gives him a cheesy smile in the picture... oh well.

Gage is a whole different story. He is just starting to smile, but every time we grab the camera, he is more interested in the red eye light on the camera, than smiling for us...

Wow... we've been up to A LOT!!

It's been awhile since we've had time to update our website... with all the having babies and having fun we've been doing, I guess it's about time to update you all!

This is old news now, but our newest little Crim graced us with his presence on April 15th, at 11 pm. He weighed in at 9 lbs 3 oz and was 21.5 inches long. Gage Joseph Crim, aka "turtleman" or "popeye", is a great baby. He sleeps on average 6-7 hours a night before he gets up to eat... a big change from Jesse who woke every 2 hours. We hope Gage keeps up the good work...he is growing like a weed, about 11.5 lbs now!

We've done a lot since he was born. We took Jesse to the train museum in Sacramento, during those 2 weeks of rain, which kept us stuck in the house. Once the sun came out again, we were back outside having fun. For Mother's Day, we went to Table Mountain and had a picnic and let Jesse try out his Elmo kite. He seemed to be a pretty darn good kite flyer!

Jesse is such a great big brother! You can tell he really loves our little Gage. We were so worried about him being jealous and acting out, but just the opposite is true. He can't get enough of his little brother... he actually gets upset when we won't let him hold him. He likes to be right next to him... but doesn't quite understand that Gage isn't as strong as him, and sees nothing wrong with using Gage's head as an arm rest or his hand as a handle to grab onto when he's getting on the couch. He'll learn... one of these days.

I've been out on walks with my "boyfriends" to try and get back into shape, slowly. But we jumpstarted my exercise regimen by hiking up to Bald Rock on Sunday. It wasn't a very hard hike, except that I was carrying Gage in my Moby wrap. He gets a little heavy when you're hiking up a big rock. We had a great time and are planning on going back to hike a little higher and get even better views!

Waiting...

Well, we're on our way to the home stretch... just waiting for our newest little Crim to arrive. Just 7 more weeks (we hope, not another late one :))

We've been enjoying Jesse as much as we can... and as much as he'll let us. He's a little spitfire, always on the go, and always getting into something! So much fun at this age...

Matt has posted some new pics under "photos", so take a look and enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving
