Tara's Pregnant. WOW That Was Fast!

Jan, 2007

Ok, so it's been a while since I last updated this page but now we need to get the word out. Can you believe it, Tara is pregnant with baby Matthew/Tara. So here's the deal. Tara is due on July 17 (My sister Cindys birthday!) so doing all the calculations would put conception right about 1 to 2 weeks after the wedding. I not only do good work but I'm fast too! Talk about wonder powers uniting; super sperm and Fertile Myrtle.

Tara is 15 weeks along now and has definitely felt the effects of being pregnant. She started out fine, then got the old morning sickness. Only it wasn't just in the morning, that would be too easy. About a month ago she dropped the nausea and picked up a case of the lazys. Now she is starting to come out of that and has lots of energy. Oh, and a certain drive and desire is also back. Umm-humm, lucky me! Tara is starting to show a bit and you can feel a hard spot in her belly. We've got our own fetal heart monitor and have been able to hear the babies heartbeat. To listen click here. I thought it sounded good and then the doctor confirmed for us that it is a strong heartbeat. We (Tara) have decided not to find out the sex of the baby until it's born....You will just have to wait like I do!

Here is a picture of our first ultrasound. It's way early on so the baby is only about the size of a peanut. We should be getting a good one on our next doctors visit.

Tara has started a blog to give everyone updates on the pregnancy. Click HERE to go to it.
